After months of anticipation, British-Mauritian songstress Lavaud shares her four-track debut EP, King Vaud. It contains her pre-release single “Oh My” featuring Reekado Banks as well as the empowering title track, both of which were produced by Tuzi.
“As a woman, I wanted to create something that was not only real and authentic to me but something that would empower others and change perspective,” Lavaud explains. “In my opinion, there is no greater title than ‘Woman’, so why not also have the option to be ‘King’.”
