Lakeyah has returned with the sequel to her June EP No Pressure, a collection of songs that showcase her versatility. The EP has five new songs, including the hard-hitting anthem “Maneuver” with Flo Milli, and “Real B**ch” with Memphis MC Gloss Up.
On the other hand, Lucky Daye, Icewear Vezzo, Peezy, Latto, and Layton Green all contribute to the album’s ten tracks. On No Pressure Part 2, Lakeyah seamlessly switches between the sounds of the Midwest and Atlanta, and she continues to combine silky R&B with pounding, all-out bars that can hold their own against her QC competition.
“No Pressure Part 2 is a natural follow-up to part one. While I was creating this EP, I wanted it to be a reminder of my lyrical ability and versatility,” she says. “I have songs for the girls, the culture I represent, and a song just in time for cuffing season!”
