Canadian singer-producer combo Joyia shares her new single “Ritual” via Empire. The dreamy record is an ode to the subconscious and habitual way people express love of all kinds; the little things like a cup of coffee or a phone call that brings us closer together.
“I wrote this song about love and the little ways in which we love each other,” Joyia shares. “I wanted to actively show love. I feel like love is something that the world really needs, especially right now. People can always listen to my song on a streaming service, so what I wanted them to really experience was the true message of the song in a realistic and relatable way.”
“Ritual” arrives alongside an accompanying visual effort. The record gives us a taste of what is to come from here in the forthcoming months.
