Last year, rising R&B starlet Journee made some pretty major waves riding on the release of her deluxe project It’s Not You, It’s Me followed by a handful of acoustic performances. As her first visual offering for the new year, the “This and That” singer releases a 90-second freestyle aptly titled “Call Them Boys.”
Produced by Clint Ford, the visual finds her cruising through the Hills in Los Angeles before the screen pans to her showing off her lyrical prowess while hanging on top of a basketball goal. “Don’t make me call them boys ’cause they don’t play about me,” she sings. The record arrives months removed from her October release of “Toxic” as well as a few vlogs here and there uploaded to her YouTube channel. Watch “Call Them Boys” below.
