Rising artist Jesse Gibson drops a video for his standout single, “The Ride,” from his 2020 debut album Before The Devil Knows We’re Dead. The track puts Jesse’s songwriting prowess and creative direction on full display, clocking in at over three minutes. His sound is dark and sullen, with a slight touch of romanticism and swag that really draws you in. The song is an earworm, as well, and has the tendency to get stuck in your head.
The new video was directed by Pleasure Craft, and features Jesse Gibson in a multitude of settings, just looking cool as shit; seriously. One of the scenes is literally him in a lawn chair posted with a bulldog companion while an ATV burns up behind him. It’s badass. Check it out below.
