Jordan Brand has created a limited-edition Air Jordan 36 for Jayson Tatum based on the design of his ’66 Ford Mustang, in addition to the original Air Jordan 14 release, the basketball player outfits the silhouette in all black.
The basketball shoe takes on a sleek and stealthy all-Black design reminiscent of the aforementioned also inspired by the Forward-1966 Guard’s American muscle vehicle, with glossy embellishments infusing individuality throughout the sole unit. The tongues are topped with quilted leather, much like the high-end seats in the car, and have an exclusive Jumpman emblem in the middle. The 24-year-old’s name is imprinted on the sock-liners, and there are brake light-like features at the heel.
The Jayson Tatum x Air Jordan 36 “Mustang,” seen in official images below, will drop on September 9 for $200 USD at select Nike stores and online.
