Jayde Delivers A Somber New Single “I’d Still Die For U”

Emerging Toronto songstress Jayde is back with her latest single, “i’d still die for u.” Clocking in just under three minutes, the Jack Laboz-produced record is raw and unfiltered underscoring her emotional and vocal vulnerability.

“i’d still die for u” is a song about the emotional turmoil that comes along with a breakup. When you leave any sort of relationship, the love and compassion doesn’t typically disappear, at least for me it doesn’t,” she shares. “This song is a really beautiful conversation about how despite needing to give up on the relationship, you will always hold love for that person.”

The accompanying visual is a touching memento presenting the aftermath of a love lost—the longing, the loneliness, and rumination on what could have been. “i’d still die for u” is the songstress’ first official single since the release of her 2021 EP, sad songs about sad things. Her catalog is none short of ethereal and filled with many vulnerable songs that many can relate to. Watch the video below.
