Brighton-born soulstress Iyamah has unveiled her hotly anticipated new EP Tough Love, out today. The stunning, seven-track release, is a deeply personal, emotionally charged record that tackles themes of good and evil, addiction, and self-worth.
In her own words, she explains, “The concept of ‘Tough Love’ is like the conflict between the angel and devil.” “Love and pain, wanting one thing but knowing you need the other. Throughout the EP it’s a conversation about the dialogue on relationships, and the sound flicks between raw and more produced to represent the old and new.”
A collection of tracks steeped in emotion and personality, Tough Love sees Iyamah do what she does best, wearing her heart on her sleeve with raw accounts of her life experiences. Stream the project below.
