Ivorian Doll Returns With Her New Single “Boss”
Everyone’s favorite Barbie, London rapper Ivorian Doll kicks off 2022 with the release of her single “Boss.” Channeling the kind of braggadocious energy on which she has become known for, the new record pairs the coldest of drill beats with IVD’s infectious, razor-sharp bars.
Last year, IVD dropped didn’t drop much music, except for August’s release of “Bow Down,” which was eventually taken down. However, she didn’t hold back on doing surefire features, working with several artists both in the UK and internationally. Most notably, Ivorian Doll hopped on Asian Doll’s viral triumph “Nunnadet Shit” alongside Rubi Rose and Dreezy. Elsewhere, she collaborated with the likes of Croydon rapper B1, pop starlet, KAMILLE, and rising Birmingham rapper Miss Lafamilia amongst several others.
Hopefully “Boss” signifies a new era for IVD, who’s arguably one of the most talented emcees coming out of London at the moment. Directed by long-term collaborator Kevin Hudson, the accompanying official video offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the recording of the track. Watch “Boss” below.
