IDK Shares Go-Go Version Of “Shoot My Shot”

Back in mid-April, Maryland rapper IDK unveiled his viral triumph “Shoot My Shot” featuring Migos member Offset. The video has amassed over 3.3 million YouTube views to date with even more streams across DSPs. Well today, he updates the record with a go-go version done by New Impressionz and it sounds amazing.

Go-go music is a staple in Washington, DC, being used by prominent artists such as GoldLink, Corbin Canvas, and several others. This just proves the PG County rapper to be as versatile as we thought. It serves as something to hold fans over while he works on finishing up his upcoming LP, USE4YOURSELF. It’ll be his first full-length project since the release of his 2019 debut album, Is He Real? which proved to be a phenomenal album and gained praise from critics alike.

Elsewhere, IDK is said to partner with Harvard University for a 10-day music business curriculum on campus and online for underserved BIPOC students. It’s obvious that he’s more than just a rapper, but a mentor, visionary, and entrepreneur who cares about giving back to his community. Stream the go-go version of “Shoot My Shot” below.
