Orlando rap phenomenon Hotboii is back with his first major release of the year. His new single “Nobody Special” features Atlanta staple Future is one of his craziest records so far. The record is accompanied by a three-minute visual effort directed by DrewFilmedIt (YNW Melly, King Von).
The music video opens up to a funny skit which is a reference to his cheating scandal that took place back in April. “Don’t talk crazy ’cause I’m at my lil thot house,” he says in the Ring camera. Always one to flip a sticky situation on its head, the Florida rapper finds a way to make his fans laugh and have a blast as he raps poolside with Future. The pair are joined by women and watts of cash, which should come as no surprise.
“Big slime, came out the field with the drip / Big slime, spent a half-a-ticket on her trip,” Future raps in the latter verse. “Nobody Special” arrives months removed from Hotboii’s Double O Baby project, which boasts features from Lil Mosey, Pooh Shiesty, and Toosii. This new record is just the start of what he’s dubbing a “Hotboii Summer” with another project on the way and his Rolling Loud Miami performance coming up pretty soon. Watch the video below.
