Fast-rising British-Asian artist HIRA propelled into commercial success last month thanks to the release of his double A-side, “Don’t Question It!/Just When I.” Serving as the first releases independent of the Paul Institute collective, the tracks saw him open up two new facets of his sound.
Today, HIRA steers into unmarked territory with the release of, “Eclipses.” Broadening his range even further, the effort reveals a much more subtle take on the futuristic R&B sound that the London-native has been building. He utilizes a flawless falsetto to abstract the feeling of love over a sparsely populated, meticulously crafted instrumental by Mahir Mistry, Harry Craze, and HIRA himself.
With his latest string of singles proving to be impeccable efforts that showcase his versatility, there are clear signs that we’ll see the artist make a major splash in the forthcoming year. Stream below.
