Reimagining activewear staples, luxury essentials brand HÉROS is a collection of seasonless, ready-to-wear silhouettes crafted in Italian technical fabrics. Founded by Joni Kilmurry, the Los Angeles-based designer and former stylist combines her expansive knowledge of fashion and impressive skill set to create pieces that transcend beyond the gym.
The label’s unitards, one-piece garments of stretchable eco-tech fabric, serve as a versatile activewear staple to add to your collection. Featuring a scoop neck and ultra flattering exposed back, the signature piece boasts flattering strap details on the back and hidden bra lining for extra coverage. It’s available in three styles: the classic Unitard, the Short Unitard, and the classic Bike Unitard, the latter of which dons long sleeves. Each garment is designed for low-medium intensity workouts and can be paired with your favorite trainers or worn alone for lounging.
Elsewhere, the range is comprised of long sleeves, crop tops, and several other chic styles. The H Bra features a low-cut back and flattering scooped neckline that’s complemented by an extra wide elastic band with the brand’s logo in the center. The Crop contains a wide under-bust band and double-width fabric with a square back. Similarly, the Cross Crop has an enhancing front keyhole positioned to elongate the torso which is accompanied by a cross-back design. Another standout piece from the range is the Ballerina top, which features quarter-length sleeves. Each of the tops comes in an array of colors—black, lilac, hot pink, grey, white, and olive—and can be mixed and matched with HÉROS’ leggings or bike shorts.
Among the label’s bestsellers are the 80s Leggings, a high-waist legging that features contrasting a bikini bottom that elongates and lengthens the leg. The piece is available in a mix of black and olive, black and lilac, and yellow and grey exclusively on multi-brand retailer SSENSE. For a simpler look, the brand also has minimal leggings that with that folded waistband sits high on the waist. Meanwhile, the Bike Short cuts off at the mid-thigh with a smooth hand feel.
Retailing from $95 to $195, you can shop the full range via the HÉROS website or partnering retailers like BANDIER and SSENSE.
