Last week, Gunna dropped his highly-awaited album DS4EVER featuring the likes of Chlöe, Roddy Ricch, Future, and Lil Baby to name a handful. To no surprise, the Atlanta rapper did pretty major numbers with it being the first major hip-hop release of the year. Songs like “Pushin P” with Young Thug and “Thought I Was Playing” with 21 Savage gained the Internet’s attention.
Still promoting the project, the YSL rapper drops the video for “Livin Wild.” Produced by Turbo and McNab, the video opens to a clip of Gunna in the hospital, presumably of when he was hospitalized mid-last year with pneumonia. “I just left the hospital, might need another liver / Kidney failures, I tell you this shit couldn’t be no realer,” he raps before the screen pans to him rapping in the rain.
Through the song, Gunna raps about his struggles with addiction to drugs and dealing with critics, among other sensitive topics. Watch the music video for “Livin Wild” below.
