Brushes, combs, and hair-loving products such as cleansing scrubs and serums are just some of the raved-about hair products and accessories that have made Crown Affair popular among celebrities and influences alike. The Ritual Shampoo and Conditioner were among the first goods released by the brand in 2021, but since then, they’ve introduced a slew of other items to help you perfect your daily haircare routine.

In contrast to competing products, they focus on the scalp and roots to promote healthy, strong hair from the inside out. Given that they are made with nourishing nutrients and fruit extracts rather than harsh chemicals like parabens, petroleum, and mineral oils, this brand has earned the confidence of both professional hairdressers and the general public. The cherry on top is unobtrusive branding and packaging that puts the spotlight where it belongs: on the effective ingredients.

Below, we delved into Crown Affair’s ultimate collection dubbed The Complete Set, which is comprised of the aforementioned Ritual Shampoo and Conditioner as well as the label’s hair mask, a microfiber towel, dry shampoo, oil, and beauty tools to name a few items. Continue scrolling to learn more.

The Ritual Shampoo & Conditioner

Crown Affair’s The Ritual Shampoo is a clean formula powered by a coconut surfactant system, a high-foaming lather that’s gentle on the hair, and Tsubaki seed oil, which moisturizes and strengthens the hair shaft from the inside. Differentiating itself from other cleansing products that rely on harsh chemicals and sulfates like SLS, the label utilizes eco-friendly surfactants. Other additives such as glycerin and wheat protein aid in the formula’s lightweight, non-greasy nature. Start at the crown of your head and work it into the scalp to break down oils and buildup.

The Ritual Conditioner is a lightweight moisturizer that hydrates and heals the hair whilst refortifying its cuticles with a protective coating. It’s infused with Tsubaki seed oil and beetroot extract, the latter of which stimulates hair growth and adds shine to your strands. Used in tandem with the brand’s shampoo, the product is designed for all hair types, textures, and lengths. Crown Affair recommends applying the condition on the end strands for finer hair, and for thick or curlier hair types, apply it all over and let sit for a few minutes.

One reviewer shared, “I have swapped out all my other hair products for exclusively Crown Affair items. The shampoo and conditioner changed my air dry more than anything else in their product portfolio. I buy in bulk to make sure I don’t go a wash day without them. I got the air dry towel as a gift with the purchase and love that, too. My hair has never felt healthier or smelled better.”

The Renewal Mask & The Oil

Used as a weekly hair treatment, The Renewal Mask is designed to help smooth and strengthen whilst repairing strands from the inside out. For maintenance, distribute the product through your hair using a wide tooth comb—try Crown Affair’s The Comb No. 002— after cleansing then leave it in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing with cold water. The formula also combines bergamot, yuzu, and lemongrass for a cool, light scent. It serves as a great addition to your hair care routine, particularly if you’re looking to rebuild over-processed, bleached, or damaged hair.

The Oil is a lightweight, anti-frizz serum for deep hydration and protection. For straight and wavy hair, work it into damp hair from mid-lengths to ends before air drying. Meanwhile, the oil can be worked through damp hair post-wash from mid-lengths to ends for curly hair. It’s a “less is more” formula that depends on the length, density, and porosity of your hair, thus usage will vary from person to person. The Oil comes in 30ml (1 fl oz) bottle with ingredients like meadowfoam and Tsubaki seed oil.

The Dry Shampoo & Scrunchie

For days in-between your hair ritual, The Dry Shampoo is a fine powder that gently absorbs oils and enriches the scalp. The dry shampoo includes Japanese persimmon powder, a natural deodorizer, as well as tapioca starch. Simply apply to your roots and use your fingers to massage the product in the desired areas. To complete the collection, The Scrunchie No. 002 can be used to put your hair in a topknot, a low ponytail, and on your wrist for convenience.

“Their bristle brush is fantastic, it has made a big difference in my hair health and is super sturdy. I really recommend getting their brush cleaning brush because it makes it way easier to clean the brush,” one person shared regarding the accessories. “I also use their silk scrunchies daily and they’re the perfect size.”
