For the upcoming autumn season, Glossier revamped its Generation G lipstick line by introducing three new colors. Inspired by a secret technique used by makeup artists, this thin, matte lipstick is applied, blotted, reapplied, then blotted again until it is flawlessly blended and seems easy.
Each swipe of the creamy, non-cracking, hydrating solution blends in with your lips’ natural color as the dispersed pigment adjusts to your preferences. Glossier’s “Fuzz,” a rosy taupe, is one of the three new colors added to the six already present in the Gen G collection. To get a blotchy effect on the lips, use “Punch,” a brilliant bright rosy red, or “Malt,” a deep cinnamon-bear brown.
Wax matrix, made from sunflower oil and synthetic beeswax, is a crucial component since it provides bulletproof lip protection while also making lips feel soft and pliable. Blue agave binds water within the lips for pleasant wear, while safflower oil, which is rich in linoleic acid, acts as a barrier to prevent moisture loss.
Glossier sells Generation G on its website for $18 USD along with an array of other products. See the announcement via the brand’s Instagram and continue scrolling to see campaign photos for the rollout.
