Gisou Hair Perfume

Over the last several years, the honey-infused haircare company Gisou has generated a lot of attention in the cosmetics industry. The beloved brand, founded by beauty influencer Negin Mirsalehi in 2015, is supported by six generations of beekeepers, providing Negin with the chance to collect honey for Gisou products in an ethical and environmentally responsible manner. As a result, the label sets itself apart from others and has built a cult following around one of its hero products: Gisou Hair Perfume.

The Honey Infused Hair Perfume, scented with Gisou’s trademark smell, also revitalizes and nourishes hair thanks to honey sourced from the Mirsalehi bee garden. The feminine perfume lingers in the air like a pleasant stroll through a flower garden. Honey, being a humectant, helps the hair retain its natural moisture, making the strands soft and shiny. Coumarin and Argania Spinosa kernel oil are two other components; the latter has anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and skin-hydrating properties.

“The perfume is so great and I’m obsessed with the smell, however, it doesn’t last more than two hours and if I reapplied the hair perfume, my hair would be weighed down and look greasy,” one buyer shared. “I use it as a regular perfume too sometimes, but because it’s meant for hair, the longevity of the smell doesn’t last more than one hour. It would be awesome if the brand would launch a regular perfume with the same scent but with a longer stay power.”

Separate your hair into pieces before applying. Distribute the spray evenly into your hair from arm’s length, then turn your head to release the clean aroma of Gisou’s scent. Like several other products from the brand, the Gisou Hair Perfume is available in several different sizes for convenience. You can pair the perfume with Honey Infused Hair Mask, which is intended to be used once or twice a week, for a moisture boost.

Elsewhere, one reviewer states, “I bought this two years ago and didn’t use it all the way. I found it a few weeks ago and started using it again. I got a lot of compliments on the smell of my hair. Everyone said it smelled amazing. So even after two years, the smell is the same and I would definitely recommend this hair perfume!”

Retailing at €38 for 50ml or €72 for 100ml, the Gisou Hair Perfume is available to purchase on the Gisou website or at partnering retailers such as REVOLVE and Sephora.
