Ahead of his forthcoming album next Friday, Saba calls on fellow Chicago rapper G Herbo for the release of his new single “Survivor’s Guilt.” The latest in a string of songs, the Daoud and daedaePIVOT-produced record, almost instantly kicks off with surefire bars and bass hitting. It’s a refreshing switch-up from the Pivot Gang rapper’s typical flow, and unsurprisingly, the song rounds out extremely well with G Herbo on the latter verse.
Few Good Things is slated to drop on February 4 with collaborations from, Black Thought, Krayzie Bone, 6LACK, Smino, Mereba, and Fousheé amongst several others. Fans alike including us have high hopes for the project, it’s Saba’s first full-length release since 2018’s CARE FOR ME and the rapper already has a tour lined up which is another good sign. “Survivor’s Guilt” comes after songs such as “Come My Way,” the hard-hitting “Stop That,” and “Fearmonger.”
This isn’t the last pre-release material we’ll get before the release of Few Good Things. A premiere screening of Saba’s short film to accompany the album is set to drop on January 31 and February 1 in various different regions. Directed by C.T. Robert, the live stream will be moderated by journalist Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins—purchase tickets here.
