Singer-songwriter Faouzia makes her first debut of the new year with her new music video for “Puppet.” Produced by Johnny Goldstein and The Monarch, the song is about shamelessly being yourself. The synopsis is reflected in the video as the Canadian singer breaks free in the Kyle Cogan-directed visual.
When the song originally dropped in October, the singer shared, “‘Puppet’ is a song about challenging relationship dynamics as a woman, taking charge, and shamelessly being yourself.” Prior to the video’s release, she shared two renditions of the song: one being the Sondr remix and the other being the demo version of the song.
“Puppet” is amongst a string of many singles that were released last year. Faouzia is currently working on her debut album, which will hopefully be released sometime this year. In the meantime, watch the music video below.
