Today, rapidly-rising experimental musician Eartheater unveils her new single “Mitosis” via her own label, Chemical X. The track arrives ahead of her recently announced collaboration with Grimes, slated to appear on the latter’s forthcoming album later this year.

On “Mitosis,” Eartheater’s signature blend of haunting, harmonically-rich vocals are supported by dream-inducing productions by friend and collaborator Sega Bodega. The song follows the epic, sweeping 2021 track “Scripture” that debuted as the soundtrack for Proenza Schouler’s SS22 NYFW show.

After closing out the SHAYNEOLIVER AW22 Fashion Week show in February, scoring the Proenza Schouler catwalk for a second time, and performing at festivals including Pitchfork London and Unsound, the songstress and culture icon will take her viscerally emotive live show to Summer festivals across Europe and the UK including Melt and Sonar.
