Global music stars Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion are coming together for a pop-rap crossover this upcoming March 11th. Megan took to social media this weekend to share the cover art, which features a grid of colorful cakes featuring images of the two artists. Dua Lipa, on the other hand, posted a short snippet via Instagram that gives us a glimpse into the colorful track.
This past month, Megan unveiled her single “Flamin Hottie” in collaboration with Doritos and Cheetos with the song appearing in the Super Bowl LVI. Elsewhere, she appeared on Sheensea’s raunchy song and video for “Lick,” which was met with an array of social media chatter as expected. Her latest full-length project was 2021’s Something for Thee Hotties, which the rapper is currently fighting for to be recognized as an album despite it being a compilation of songs from her archives.
Meanwhile, Dua is currently embarked on her Future Nostalgia tour which is slated to come to a close on April 1st in Vancouver. She recently got hit with a second copyright lawsuit for her smash hit “Levitating,” which was accused of being too similar to Cory Daye’s 1979 song “Wiggle and Giggle All Night.”
Slated to drop this Friday, the collaboration between Dua Lipa and Megan The Stallion is certainly one to look out for.
