Euphoria executive producers Adele “Future” Nur and Zendaya were nominated for Emmys, with the latter also garnering nods for lead actress in a drama and two original songs. Notably, Zendaya made history earlier this year when she received her second Emmy nomination for the role she played there, making her the youngest actor to get two nominations in the same category.
The 25-year-old actress is now the youngest producer nominated, as an exec producer on the Outstanding Drama series she starred in. For the second time in a row, Zendaya has broken a record, this time as the youngest winner of the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.
The A24-produced series also features Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams, among others. With Kevin Turen, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, and others, Levinson serves as an executive producer on the film, which also stars Will Greenfield, Ashley Levin, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, and Hadas Lichtenstein.
There have been nine Emmy nominations in the past two years for Euphoria, which has previously won in the categories of Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. This is a major win not only for Drake but the Euphoria cast as a whole.
