Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp recently shared a post on social media that Doja Cat asked him to be her wingman and set her up with co-star Joseph Quinn. Known for playing teenage rocker Eddie Munson—who dies in season 4 of the Netflix original series—has become an online heartthrob.
While many fans alike of both the show and musician assumed that she was in on it and didn’t mind that Noah had leaked their conversation, Doja’s TikTok live the following day showed otherwise. The “Need To Know” rapper began by saying that Noah is young and that maybe he wasn’t aware of what he was doing, but then she later backtracks and calls what he did “wack” and “borderline snake shit.” While Noah is indeed 17 years old, several people took online to share that either way it was wrong to call him out in the manner that she did.
Los Angeles Times reported that Doja Cat lost about 200k followers on Instagram after calling out the Stranger Things star. On the other hand, Schapp has seemingly gained 1 million followers on the platform and 3 million followers elsewhere on TikTok. The aftermath of the events luckily concluded with the actor sharing a comment that reads: “Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings.”
