Dior Beauty reinvents its 2007 first-high coverage foundation with Dior Forever, promoting an inclusive idea of beauty and sisterhood. Recognizing the changes within beauty, the skincare-centered foundation uses cleaner and more eco-conscious ingredients for longer wear. Joined by alum Natalie Portman, Dior calls on actress Yara Shahidi to be the face of the campaign, her first since being named a Global Ambassador of the brand.
“These strong and inspiring women appear as leaders of the Forever community, which is growing every day,” Dior Beauty shared in a press statement. “Today, Forever lies at the center of a large movement, and a real, inclusive community of men and women of every age and every skin color.” The foundation comes in two distinct formulations, matte and luminous, both of which will feature 43 shades, ensuring inclusivity for all skin tones.
Forever Foundation’s unique formulation includes mineral pigments in a plant-based coating, allowing for the foundation to act as a second skin, without changing colors or oxidizing throughout the day. Dior Beauty worked with 110 women to represent the 110 various skin tones referenced by science, further backing their movement in a new direction.
