Thinkin’ Out Loud, which clocks in just under five minutes, was created for Black men and boys who felt they sat silent while life, social injustices, and pressure in general that society demands. “Where you didn’t see the turmoil and emotional distress I overcame to get to a point where I felt like I had something to share, and Darian complimenting my vision as well as his own to make something like this work,” Crucial shared via Instagram.

O’Neil wrote, directed, and produced the film while Zaj Eugene is credited for director of photographer and Khari McCloud is credited for gaffer.
