DaBaby Enlists NBA YoungBoy For New Single “Bestie / Hit”

After a pretty eventful 2021, Charlotte rapper DaBaby is back with his latest single “Bestie / Hit” featuring NBA YoungBoy. The double release, which was previewed on Triller a few days prior, is finally available across streaming platforms.

Previously, Baby and NBA YoungBoy collaborated on their viral triumph “JUMP,” which also appeared on the rapper’s 2020 album Baby On Baby. With 96 million YouTube views to date, the song further cemented the pair’s online presence, signaling for yet another collab between the two. With “Bestie / Hit,” the two rappers trade verses over snares and hi-hats as the instrumental transitions halfway through. Production is handled by the likes of Cardo (Drake, Kendrick Lamar), Uzoharber, Yung Exclusive, and Johnny Juliano (Nicki Minaj, ScHoolboy Q).

“Bestie / Hit” is DaBaby’s first single of the year, and first release since November’s Back On My Baby Jesus Sh!t Again EP. Not only does NBA YoungBoy have a mixtape dropping sometime this month, but Internet Money also took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the Jan. 21 release of their new collaboration with YoungBoy titled “Flossin.” While we wait, listen to “Bestie / Hit” below.

In other music news, The Weekend drops the music video to “Gasoline” from his recently released album.
