Coi Leray keeps the momentum going with the release of her latest single “Involved.” Announced earlier this week, the record is finally out now via Republic Records.
Coi kicks the song off with sultry lyrics, crooning, “Come give me head until I cum / Yeah, come give me head until I cum / I know I might have myself the problems.” Meanwhile, in the song’s chorus, she raps, “They just want money and clothes / Can’t fall in love with these hoes / We won’t tell nobody, I promise that no one has to know.”
“Involved” is Coi Leray’s first single since her label debut album, Trendsetter, which boasts features from Nicki Minaj, Lil Tecca, Lil Durk, Fivio Foreign, Young M.A., and several others. impressively gathered over 500 million streams to date in the US alone, with total consumption exceeding 315K and pacing towards an RIAA-certified Gold certification. Though the album only landed a mere 9K in album sales, songs like “Big Purr” and “No More Parties” lauded her multiple entries in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and several Platinum plaques. Upon release, it was the biggest first week for a debut album by a female hip-hop artist in the U.S. for 2022.
Coi Leray is currently embarked on her first-ever headlining tour with special guest B-Lovee. The show run began on June 10th at the Governors Ball and is slated to hit across major markets throughout the States, including Chicago, Atlanta, DC, and several other cities. In addition to her headline tour, 2022 will also see Coi performing at festivals around the world including Rolling Loud Amsterdam, Lollapalooza Festival, Metro Metro Festival, and a number of others.
