Claudia Valentina has recently released the sultry music video for her latest track “Sweat.” The song is taken from her upcoming EP titled Foreign Affair, which will be released on September 9th.
Made in collaboration with Lost Boy, Tom Mann, and Digital Farm Animals, the tune features Claudia Valentina’s seductive vocals gliding through the powerful music as she provides a preview of what listeners can look forward to on her next EP. It was mainly recorded by the songstress when she was traveling between London, Guernsey, and Los Angeles with a range of producers and co-writers from a variety of different cultural and educational backgrounds.
“I’m fascinated with different sounds from around the world and as I’m from a small island, I longed to get out of there and discover a new world of sounds since I was young. Growing up in London and LA has allowed me to be exposed to different types of music through the people I work with,” she says. “I’m inspired by the producers I work with and their own individual sounds and I learn so much about different cultures of music through them so I like to merge all these sounds together to create something that’s unique while putting my own musical stamp on everything to tie it all together.”
Furthermore, the extended play delves into the kinds of relationships and predicaments that young women often find themselves in. When things were too difficult for Claudia in one location, she would simply pack up and go to another when she needed a change. Watch the video for “Sweat” below.
