New Jersey rapper Chris Patrick is arguably one of the most exciting lyricists to touch a mic these past few years. An underdog with elite penmanship, he’s an artist who exemplifies as much heart and soul as rhythm and bars. Today, Chris drops his newest offering aptly titled “Up Now.”

“‘Up Now’ represents the celebration of the big wins in life. Having come from a space where dreams usually get killed, the feeling of being up is satisfying but fleeting,” Chris shares. “As temporary as the feeling is, it’s important to make the most of it while you’re there.”

“Up Now” is Chris Patrick’s first release following the October release of “Insane,” which is a personal favorite of ours. Prior to that, he dropped one of his strongest records to date with “Gang Activity,” amassing just over 1.5 million streams across Spotify.
