Named after former basketball player and two-time WMBA championship winner Lisa Leslie, Nike unveils the official images for the forthcoming Nike Dunk Low “Lisa Leslie.” The sneaker arrives nearly twenty years after she became the first woman to dunk in a WNBA game in 2002.
Arriving in a mix of “Purple/Gold/Teal/Black-White”—the same color as the Los Angeles Sparks logo—the shoe boasts a golden leather base complemented by purple overlays. Leslie’s jersey number “9” appears on the heels atop a white midsole and purple rubber outsole. Meanwhile, other details like black laces and “NIKE” on the heel tab provide a bit of contrast.
Retailing at $130 USD, the Nike Dunk Low “Lisa Leslie” is slated to release on July 9th via Nike. In the meantime, check out the sneaker below.
