Amongst one of the most limited drops, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “XQ” is slated to re-release this year after nearly fifteen years when 240 pairs dropped in 2007. In 2013, the sneakers also dropped limited quantities at select Jordan Brand retailers in China in the form of a high-top.

The sneaker boasts read leather overlays with debossed star details while gilded finishes that are applied to the Swooshes, interior lining, laces, ball-and-wings logos, Jumpman insignias on the tongues, and the laces. Furthermore, black dresses up the ankle flaps, lower heels, and toe tips, the latter of which is adorned with abstract embroidery in gold. Overall, the sneaker is a nod to Chinese culture and sneaker fans have a chance to get their hands on a pair of these at last.

Slated to drop later this year, check out the shoe below as more details on the Air Jordan 1 Mid “XQ” come out.
