Valentine’s Day has always been a celebrated day amongst sportswear brands, often playing with the red, white, and pink palette and incorporating hearts in shoe designs. This year, Jordan Brand gives the Air Jordan 1 Mid a makeover for the upcoming “Valentine’s Day” colorway.
An array of pink hues are spotted between the toe boxes, quarter panels, and the overlays closest to these areas. Extra contrasting hits are visible through the ball-and-wings logos and Swooshes which are done up with a shimmery hot pink while the tongue and collars are styled with a clean white mesh. White tumbled leather and a sporty mesh make up the base layer of the sneaker, while the heels boast a set of three roses debossed into the lower heels in alternating tones.
Instead of getting a box of chocolates or some roses, maybe think about copping a pair of J’s this Valentine’s Day. Slated to drop in February, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day” will be available via Nike and select retailers.
