Pop singer-songwriter Ceara Cavalieri releases her new single and accompanying music video “Radio Silence.” Directed by Nayip Ramos (21 Savage, Camila Cabello, Sofia Carson), the nearly three-minute cut sees the songstress spew emotions about an everso relatable feeling among Gen Z of being ghosted.
“I wrote this song about a guy that I had been dating for about eight months who randomly ghosted me without saying anything. It is such a weird feeling when you are used to talking to someone every day and then out of nowhere it’s just complete ‘radio silence’ on their end,” Cavalieri explains. “I know that most people have experienced something like this and it can really make you feel down on yourself, especially without getting that closure. If you’re going through something like this or have experienced something similar then this is definitely a song that you can scream in your car.”
“Radio Silence” is Ceara Cavalieri’s first solo release since 2020’s “Damn,” which quickly amassed over half a million streams across streaming. More recently, she’s worked with electronic producer EQRIC on singles like “The Cure” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” Watch her latest visual effort below.
