Cardi B has announced her inaugural initiative as Creative Director in Residence at Playboy: a new creator platform called CENTERFOLD, designed for “creative freedom, artistic expression, and sex positivity.”

“It is a dream come true to officially join the Playboy family. I can’t believe this is real. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt connected to Playboy,” Cardi shared in a press statement. “It’s truly the original platform for uncensored creativity and I’m inspired by its incredible legacy of fighting for personal freedoms. I have so many ideas already—I can’t wait!”

Cardi B first announced her role as Creative Director earlier this month. The rap star is tasked with “helping craft sexual wellness products, digital editorial content, and exclusive merchandise aimed at expanding Playboy’s brand.” While her new project was teased to drop sometime in 2022, it’s very apparent that The Bronx phenomenon is expanding her empire with each new venture.
