Blxst keeps the momentum going with the release of his latest music video for “About You.” Directed by Alfredo Flores (Ariana Grande, Ciara, Justin Bieber), the video arrives weeks removed from the December release.

The video pulls inspiration from the Netflix original Malcolm & Marie, hence the black and white visual follows the LA-native and his love interest, played by Paige Hurd of Power Book II: Ghost and The Oval, as they go through the motions of their relationship. An intimate portrayal of the raw emotions over the course of an evening, the cinematic music video shares the good, the bad, and the ugly facets of love.

“Girl, I can get it on my own, I’m forever up / But I’d rather have you hold me down like Coretta does,” Blxst croons in the nearly three-minute cut. Watch the visual effort below.
