Over the last several months, Kanye West and adidas have been busy teasing many new models for their collaborative sneaker brand. The sock-like Yeezy Knit Runner model made its debut in 2021 in a “Sulfur” hue, and since then, the style has been released in many other colorways, including a high-top version.

The Knit Runner, like an Ugg boot, has a single knitted panel for the top, which traps warmth and makes it simple to put on and take off. Though it looks like a house slipper, the Knit Runner has a midfoot indent and outsoles with a gray chevron design to assist mold to the wearer’s feet and offer grip. Knit Runner Boots are exactly what they sound like, and they’re available from Yeezy if you want to wear your shoes outside the home.

Both models are best worn when selecting the size that corresponds most closely to one’s actual measurements, or one half size larger if the opportunity is given. The aforementioned, however, tends to collect dirt and is not the most hassle-free shoe to maintain. The Yeezy Knit Runner Boot, on the other hand, is watertight and has a ripple sole, making it simple to clean. If your daily wardrobe consists mostly of earth tones and layers, this specific model will fit right in. We personally like wearing these with a pair of cargo leggings that cover the top of the sneaker.

Below, we delved into the very few releases of this sneaker by Kanye West, including its debut color scheme “Sulfur” up to newer colorways such as “Faded Azure” and “Stone Carbon.” Continue scrolling to learn more about them and maybe you’ll cop a pair or two.

Yeezy Knit Runner Sulfur

adidas unveiled the “Sulfur” hue of the Yeezy Knit Runner, Kanye West’s first sneaker with a sock-like shape, via his Yeezy Supply site. The knit upper is mostly a contrasting mustard yellow color and has a slip-on style without any external branding. Size details are printed on the lateral collar and that’s about it as far as embellishments go. The shoe is supported by a sturdy rubber outsole in a complementary yellow hue. It has a modified herringbone pattern and is branded with the footwear brand’s logo at the back of the heel.

Yeezy Knit Runner Faded Azure

These adidas Yeezy Knit Runner in “Fade Azure” feature a laceless knit upper with a gradient finish; they are designed to provide a snug, comfortable, and adjustable wrap around your foot. The upper of the slip-on is colored consistently in blue, while the remainder of the shoe is done in an ombre pattern of blues and greens. An EVA midsole gives lightweight cushioning with every stride, while a PU toe support within the shoe increases its structural integrity and longevity. A long-lasting grip on a variety of surfaces is provided by the rubber outsole.

Yeezy Knit Runner Stone Carbon

The “Stone Carbon” iteration of the Knit Runner is a muted two-tone version of the popular minimalist sneaker. The laceless top is a black knit fabric with a rust-brown ring at the collar for contrast. The inside sock is branded with both Yeezy and adidas motifs, while the outside collar has the shoe size. Every stride is lightly cushioned by a hidden EVA midsole. Furthermore, black modified herringbone treading on the rubber outsole provides excellent traction.

Yeezy Knit Runner Boot Sulfur

At the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show in Paris, the adidas Yeezy Knit Runner Boot in “Sulfur” debuted to the world for the first time. The low-top model serves as inspiration for this futuristic design, which has a canvas collar that extends to the calf and is coated with a waterproof membrane, as well as 150 grams of Thinsulate insulation.

The convenient Velcro fastener makes putting it on and taking it off a breeze. The upper is made from a single piece of knit cloth that has been dyed a dark shade of yellow and reinforced with a PU toe. A textured EVA midsole in a complementary yellow hue provides cushioning underfoot, while a durable rubber outsole provides grip.
