Best Yeezy 700 V3 Releases

Serving as the latest iteration in adidas and Kanye West’s Yeezy 700 series, the Yeezy 700 V3, has a mesh upper with rubber-like overlays and 3M hits for more visibility. In contrast to its forerunners, this model does not have a full-length BOOST midsole.

In 2018, Kanye West made the sneaker announcement on Twitter, and it subsequently surfaced in a more polished form while the musician and designer was being interviewed by Forbes and later, a viral video of West personally giving a pair to DJ Khaled. Released in December 2019, it’s the first 700 model to appear without BOOST cushioning. These, on the other hand, have a lightweight and durable EVA midsole that is encased in a PU outsole. Although the aforementioned is more cushioned, the cushioning on these does not compromise comfort or elegance.

Read on for a comprehensive breakdown of these sneakers so you can learn as much as possible about them before making a purchase. Keep reading to learn about every iteration of the Yeezy 700 V3 to date.

Yeezy 700 V3 Alvah

The “Alvah” colorway of the 700 V3 is a subtle take on Ye’s previous models, taking cues both aesthetically and performance-wise. Uppers of black and grey mesh are reinforced with reflective polyurethane overlays that illuminate in the dark. Reflective elements at the base of the tongue increase visibility in low light, and the inside bootie design ensures a tight, comfortable fit. The sneaker’s midsole is made of EVA that is encased in PU rather than Boost, which is seen numerous times in subsequent releases.

Yeezy 700 V3 Arzareth

The 700 V3 “Arzareth” has a recognizable Primeknit upper fashioned in blue and gray hues with a translucent glow-in-the-dark cage overlay. The remainder of the shoe is constructed of an EVA foam midsole, a grey toe cap, and a black lining that extends to the laces. Unlike other 700 V3 colors, the Arzareth’s vibrant design pops out against the background.

Yeezy 700 V3 Clay Brown

The “Clay Brown” release has a black mesh top with brown accents that continue in swooping lines over the shoe’s side panels. They’re on full display in the mesh areas of the RPU cage, which gives the shoe’s bootie-like upper some much-needed support and a very futuristic look. Black rubber outsoles with a herringbone groove protect the thick EVA midsole and provide additional support as seen on several other color schemes of this model.

Yeezy 700 V3 Safflower

In line with Yeezy’s characteristic palette, the “Safflower” release has a predominantly tonal color scheme. The top is constructed from a monofilament-designed mesh material with yellow striations; a heel-to-toe RPU cage provides additional support and visibility after dark. The black bootie structure on the inside of the shoe makes for a tight and secure fit.

Yeezy 700 V3 Dark Glow

The “Dark Glow” version of the 700 V3 has a similar monochromatic aesthetic as the “Alvah” colorway released the year prior. Both feature a black engineered mesh upper with charcoal accents and smoky RPU overlays. In this case, the cage of the shoe glows azure in the dark, whereas the cage of the earlier sneaker emitted a greenish illumination. The lightweight cushioning comes from the black EVA midsole, which has a polyurethane core that is encased in it. A herringbone traction rubber outsole provides excellent traction for your feet as seen on other releases.

Yeezy 700 V3 Kyanite

The monofilament-designed mesh top of the “Kyanite” colorway has blue stripes that flow throughout the shoe, and the exoskeletal RPU overlays have a glow-in-the-dark coating. A reinforced rubber toe cap and an inside bootie structure for a secure fit. The shoe is reinforced by the silhouette’s characteristic herringbone rubber outsole and an ultralight EVA midsole housed in an off-white PU cage.

Yeezy 700 V3 Fade Carbon

A novel gradient effect is added to the otherwise minimalist adidas Yeezy 700 V3 “Fade Carbon.” The designed mesh upper is covered with a transparent RPU cage and goes from a muted violet to a bright magenta at the end; this vivid color even makes its way onto the back of the whitish polyurethane midsole. Its internal bootie design ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the herringbone traction rubber outsole provides superior treading.

Yeezy 700 V3 Fade Salt

The “Fade Salt” release, as the name hints, has a neutral upper of white, black, and grey that mimics a colorway worn by Ye himself a few years ago. The adidas Primeknit upper in this design is done in many tones of grey, with pops of white and black and a creamy rubber cage overlay. Furthermore, the shoe also has a light grey overlay on the toe and a dark grey neoprene bootie. Rounding out the design, the bottom of the shoe has an off-white base with orange accents.
