Best Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Releases RAYDAR

Nike is always brainstorming new ways to exhibit its classics, and its designs are frequently so drastically altered that they are unrecognizable. For instance, the Dunk Low underwent significant revisions with its Disrupt iteration in 2020; yet, its moment in the sun may soon be usurped by an equally shocking follow-up. While the names may be similar, this design’s shape is a huge improvement over the original.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t mean there aren’t any similarities to the source material. In contrast to its predecessor, the Dunk Low Disrupt 2’s sole maintains a sleek appearance, with the rear heel only partly covered in armor. The toe is similarly dressed in a similar material, its piece serving as a practical continuation of the eyelets up above. The suedes used for the eyestays and the remainder of the paneling are thicker and more rugged than those used elsewhere, but they lack polish thanks to their crooked edges and random arrangement, which goes well with the twin Swooshes on the sides and the smattering of embroidery over the tongue.

Below, we rounded up some of the best Dunk Low Disrupt 2 releases to date, including the shoe’s debut colorway “Malachite” to holiday-ready releases like “Easter.” If you want to opt for something more classic, check out the “Pale Ivory” release or go for the classic two-tone design of the “Panda” colorway.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Malachite

Green suede is coupled with a cream canvas base, an embroidered blue, and an oversized stitched Swoosh for the Disrupt 2’s debut colorway, aptly titled “Malachite.” It’s a refined update to the original design, with a slimmer version of the massive sole that made the Disrupt so famous. Meanwhile, the Dunk shoe has some interesting details like its suede overlays and unique toebox. Nike Grind rubber, a sustainable textile created from industrial byproducts, has been added to the outsole.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Pale Ivory

The build of this sneaker, which is mostly off-white and has very little contrast on the shoe, is ideal for pairing with everything from white flare pants to light blue jeans. Unlike previous variants of the Disrupt 2, which combined the subdued redesign with flashy hues, this version only has a slight black distinction by way of its branding and stitching.

Furthermore, the most noticeable change to the shoes is the sock liners, which are adorned with a variety of shapes to add a touch of springtime flavor. The swoosh wheel logos on the shoes’ sides verify that the sole unit has been modified to include upcycled materials collected as part of the company’s “Move to Zero” campaign.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 White Hyper Royal

This Disrupt 2 comes in a “Hyper Royal” colorway inspired by the Duke University crest. This women’s exclusive has a simple color scheme of white, university blue, and hyper royal. The sneaker’s upper is built from white canvas, and it’s accented with the titular on the suede overlays, inner lining, heel overlay, and grind rubber outsole. The shoe’s pinwheel emblem appears on the graphic insoles, while black and blue embroidered Swooshes adorn the shoe’s side panels.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Easter

One of the celebratory releases from Nike earlier this year is the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Easter,” which appears in a hue that captures the spirit of the season and the holiday in question. The shoe’s white upper is layered with tan, light blue, and green suedes, with pink serving as a focal point along the shoe’s strengthened counter and extra eyelet at the toe. The Swooshes down the side are embroidered and stitched in yellow, while the other emblems, including the insole’s circular design and the label at the top of the tongue, are spelled out in muted tones.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Panda

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Panda” combines two iconic Nike concepts. For one, Nike often releases updated versions of previously released models. The Dunk Low Disrupt 2 is an expansion of the Dunk Low Disrupt, a 2020 remake of the Dunk Low that has a sleeker design and more Swooshes. Furthermore, the “Panda” color scheme has been widely used this year. The very basic black-and-white color scheme keeps popping up throughout a wide range of Dunk models.

With the unusual Dunk Low Disrupt 2 shape, Nike opts for a monochrome “Panda” design to let the silhouette do the talking. The upper, midsole, and accent stitching are all white to match the shoe’s foundational white leather. The shoe’s leather overlays, laces, trim, heel, and outsole are all finished in black for a sleek look.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Desert Bronze

New iterations of the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 have done away with the bulky sole unit of the original, which debuted in 2020, in favor of a slimmer design. The new “Desert Bronze” colorway complements the pink accents to show off the second Disrupt’s entire design and to provide female sneakerheads with even another novel colorway to add to their collections. Lastly, the sock liners inside each shoe verify that the mostly brown Dunks are part of NIKE, Inc.’s “Move to Zero” effort, which involves the production of footwear from at least 20% recycled textiles.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Michigan

The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 is a trending style this summer, and a new iteration with a “Michigan” theme has recently debuted for women. Colors reminiscent of Wolverine’s are used throughout this street-ready design, as suggested by the name.

The shoe’s maize color is used on the perforated toe boxes, tongues, quarters, and collars. Following this, the midnight navy color is applied to the smooth leather overlays, the additional patches around the heels and toe boxes, and the dimensional piece that is affixed to the back of the shoe. Both an embroidered and an outlined version of the Nike Swoosh is featured on the quarters. The insoles and tongues also have vintage pinwheel Nike insignia, while the tongues include enormous Nike writing.

Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Pink Oxford

Nike’s Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Pink Oxford” is the latest pair of shoes in the Swoosh’s vibrant and cheery summer lineup. This Disrupt design follows a previously unveiled Nike Dunk Low with the same name, with a similar color combination of pastel pin, light bone, and subdued yellow.

The majority of the release is comprised of a pink and bone overlay upper, with bright yellow accents added to the heel, forefoot eyestay, and midfoot 3D swoosh. Finally, the traditional asymmetrical insoles and white and bone sole unit underfoot round off the shoe.
