Singer-songwriter Avery Lynch unveils her new single “Love of My Life” today. The song, which marks her first release of the year, is an unabashed confessional driven by melancholy piano and orchestral synths, with the songstress earnestly professing her commitment to the one she loves.
“‘Love of My Life’ is about young love and that feeling of falling for someone so intensely that you want to call them the love of your life,” Avery shares in regard to the song. “I wanted to write something that people could play at their weddings and create special moments and memories with.”
“Love of My Life” marks Avery’s first release since her 2021 EP, When It Ends. The 6-song project is joined by songs like “Sh*t People” and “Over It,” the former of which amassed over a quarter million streams within the month following its release. Across the EP, she explores relationships, whether it be romantic, platonic, or the undefined spaces in between. Elsewhere, fellow singer JORDY appears on the title track “When It Ends.” Avery Lynch’s newest record further heightens the anticipation for the next step and direction in her musical journey.
