Fast-rising singer and the self-coined Goddess of R&B Asiahn has finally shared her new EP, The Interlude, and fans alike couldn’t be any more excited. The 5-track offering contains no guest appearances and arrives via Since The 80s/Motown Records.
Towards the tail-end of 2020, Asiahn treated her audience to the release of “Get Away” along with an accompanying visual. “The Inspiration for the song came from the frustration with what’s going on in the world today and wanting to get away to just exist,” she said about the record. Furthermore, she also released pre-single “Gucci Frames,” with both efforts collectively attracting over a million streams and viewers.
Ahead of the release, she took to Instagram to state: “I decided to take a break from the Love Train series and do some living. It’s important that as an artist I not only sing about love; there’s more to life than just being in a relationship and falling in and out of love with others. We also have to fall in love with ourselves, discover what we like and dislike, explore our sexuality, get drunk, have fun, we have to live.”
