So, be sure to check out our conversation with Olsen below to learn more about her music and her journey as an artist.

Let’s talk about your new single “Low,” what ultimately led you to writing the record given that it’s one of your more vulnerable and honest releases?

I wrote the song about a relationship I was in, the song is about how I felt when the person I was with wasn’t really in a good space.. so I decided to try to write about it. I think making this song opened a lot of new doors for me in music, it let me really experiment more in different styles and genres.

How do you hope listeners will connect with it on a personal level?

I hope that people can find a way to relate to it, whether it’s the same as me or not. That’s the beautiful thing about music, it can still make sense for what you personally are going through.

Thus far, 2023 is shaping up to be a productive year. You dropped “CRAZY B***H!” back in January—how do you feel about all the support that it received?

The support has been fire, I appreciate everyone who’s listening and sharing that s**t!

Was there any hesitancy about putting this record out so soon?

I’ve been sitting on this song for 3 years now… So I’ve been eager as hell to just get it out!

You’ve been described as “the next big thing” in Norway’s music scene. Does that put any pressure on you as an artist?

The pressure is always on, but it’s also what drives me! But I honestly try to not think of it too much and more so just do my own thing like I’ve been always doing! But I won’t let ‘em down.

And now that you’re amassing an international audience, what are some of the perks and struggles of crossing over?

Not going to lie, it’s pretty strange when your about to go on stage in a country u never even been in, so in that way it’s a little scary to be honest. I just hope people f**k with it and are able to connect with the energy I give them!

Looking ahead, what are some of your goals for your music and career in the next few years?

I definitely have my eye on a song, but at the end of the day I’m just happy to do what I love to do and live this life the way that I want.
