Serving as the first single since her debut album Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire), Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Anna Shoemaker shares “I’m Your Guy.” Co-written by Richie Quake, the song advocates for the type of love—with both lovers and friends—where we all have each other’s backs.
“It’s been made clear over and over again that people in power in our country don’t really give a shit about us, so it’s really up to us to protect and be there for each other,” Anna shared in regard to the song.
Everything is Fine (I’m Only on Fire) was released back in March, comprised of 11 songs that capture the turmoil, charm, and introspection of everso relatable young adulthood. It includes phenomenal records such as “Change My Mind,” “Everything is Fine,” and “Mariah” to name a few. Subsequently, Shoemaker graced fans with the visuals for standout cut “Until I Die,” which accumulated 100K views on YouTube.
