Ambré Releases Her Sophomore EP ‘3000°’

GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Ambré shares her eagerly-awaited sophomore effort 3000° today. Comprised of 8 songs, the full-length release features guest appearances from Jay Electronica, BEAM, Destin Conrad, and Jvck James.

Using New Orleans’ rap legend, Juvenile’s genre-defining album, 400 Degreez, and Lil Wayne’s 500 Degrees as the inspiration for the title of the EP, the musician recruited her mother to provide commentary between songs about what the city means to her. It serves as a follow-up to 2019’s Pulp, which made major waves upon its release with songs like “fubu” and the Smino-assisted cut “gucci slides.”

“This body of work means so much to me because it reflects how I view myself, where I come from, and my loved ones…This is a love story set in the most magical city,” she shares about the project. “New Orleans made me who I am; make no mistake about it. Hopefully, my fans and new listeners will also feel the heart of it and become immersed in the world I have created in this EP.”
