Adidas x Gucci’s inaugural collaboration, slated to release on June 7th, brings together two of the most significant fashion and footwear houses in their respective spaces. Inspired by the 70s and 80s as seen in bright silhouettes and bold prints, it looks like the labels will unite for a number of pieces: t-shirts, skirts, micro-bags, jewelry, and much more.
Lens by Carlijn Jacobs and designed by creative director Alessandro Michele, the lookbook is envisioned as a series of images inspired by archival catalogues. This time around, sport-inspired pieces feature the signature white three stripes of Adidas on one side, juxtaposed by the red and green Web of Gucci on the other. Furthermore, the lookbook images are accentuated by brightly colored backgrounds and dynamic poses to capture the feel of the collection.
Slated to release globally on June 7th, the Adidas x Gucci collaboration will be available via dedicated pop-ups, online on Gucci’s website, and the Adidas CONFIRMED app among other partnering retailers. In the meantime, check out the announcement below.
