KYE Intimates
Balancing romance and modernity, KYE Intimate’s offerings come in lightweight and breathable mesh material in a variety of second-skin-like undergarments that provide support and comfort. The label’s bras come in deep and gentle scoop-neck, front-closure, triangle, and v-neck offerings while the briefs are comprised of thongs, string bikinis, low briefs, and more. Arriving in black, ecru, and bone hues, each style balances different elements to create equally sexy, sporty, and wearable silhouettes.
Each of KYE Intimate’s garments are designed and handmade in Los Angeles in close partnership with an AAPI, female-owned and operated factory. If you’re feeling extra, complete your look with one of the brand’s Recline Tanks which are made from a luxuriously soft bamboo. Shop via KYE’s website here.
Voight by Valentina
Despite how competitive the lingerie market can be, founder Voight Valentina dropped out of college and two years later her brand Voight was valued at two million dollars. The label is comprised of a range of garments, accessories, and toys—although the Mona Lisa of the brand is nonetheless lingerie. With all pieces being locally-made, the detail-oriented and sexy sets come in an array of hues, including pastel blue, pink, black, white, and more.
Unlike many other labels on this list, Voight sells out extremely quickly due to the sheer limited quantities and are often times announced via Valentina’s Twitter so be sure to turn on post notifications. The designs embody the concepts of femininity and sexuality all while maintaining style and wearability. If you’re looking for an eye-candy lingerie brand with chic designs that are limited in quantity, shop Voight here.
Cou Cou Intimates
Launched this past year, Cou Cou falls between the through lines of lingerie and underwear. Recognizing how often intimates sit in a drawer rather than being worn, the brand aims to create daily undergarments that are comfortable and mutually flattering. Its core collection is comprised of thongs, high-rise undies, and camisoles—each consciously made with GOTS certified cotton and French lace. At the moment, Cou Cou is only available in white and black, which quite frankly makes the decision-making process for these a lot easier.
“Bid adieu to your old multipack and say ‘bonjour’ to your new top-drawer undies,” the label emphasizes. While several other brands use synthetic fibers, Cou Cou is not only sustainably-sourced but compostable as well. In fact, you can simply remove their trims and pop them in the compost according to the brand. If you’re looking for undergarments that don’t compromise comfort for cuteness, shop Cou Cou Intimates here.
Love, Vera
One of the biggest names on this list, intimates and lingerie brand Love, Vera places representation and inclusivity at the front of its business model. The Black-owned label is primarily known for its floral lace designs and mesh bras, which appear across many of its lingerie sets in addition to silk robes and soft, wireless bras. Arriving in sizes 32 to 44, A to D, and S to 4X, silhouettes arrive in an array of tonal hues as well as lime, azure, pink, lemon, and many more.
Since its launch in late 2018, real-life couple and founders Vera Moore and Nate Johnson have created built a loyal following that celebrates women around the world. Not to mention, celebrities and influencers such as Beyonce, Keri Hilson, Genesis Vega, and Aixa Jahara have all co-signed the brand. For bold and playful additions to your wardrobe, shop Love, Vera here.
Fruity Booty
Fruity Booty, the London-based lingerie brand co-founded by Minna Bunting and Hattie Tennant, is quickly taking the Internet by storm with its playful yet chic designs. Injecting color into your underwear drawers, the brand’s highly coveted Red Tiger set takes on a flattering tiger print while the Green Check set boasts lime-hued checkered panels. Meanwhile, the Dark Heart set is created using velvet flocked mesh.
This past month, the brand celebrated Valentine’s Day with semi-sheer pink and red heart print intimates sets, and most recently, they collaborated with Vance Studios for a ’90s-inspired set that boasts splashes of yellow, red, blue. The designs, which range from checkered and embroidered mesh sets to gloves and suspenders, are just as varied as the colors. Shop the brand’s latest arrivals here.
Luelle
Founded by Lauren Kronzer and Luela Spiro in the heart of NYC, Luelle is greatly inspired by the female form. The undergarments are designed locally and ethically made by an all-female workforce in Albania, further cementing their emphasis on “by women, for women.” The label’s barely-there intimates accent the body’s most beloved features, ultimately feeling like a second skin.
Known for its breathable and supportive styles, the emerging intimates label crafted its Tibi and Ava bralettes using single-layer mesh material. For a personalized fit, the sleek and chic designs come in blush pink, white, red, and grey with adjustable shoulder straps. To complete the look, the panties—thongs, briefs, and boyshorts—boast the same sheer material as the bra, leaving little to the imagination. Furthermore, bodysuits make for perfect gifts for a partner or yourself. Shop Luelle here.
Saturday The Label
Another brand that champions barely-there intimates, Saturday the Label is an Australian-based lingerie brand that has quite a range that extends beyond undergarments. Mostly known for its sexy bra and brief sets, there are also a handful of different offerings in cotton and satin—helmed by the brand’s collaboration with influencer Elle Ferguson—material as well as bodysuits and sheer mesh shorts to overlay your lingerie.
Saturday the Label’s offerings come in several vibrant hues, including “Lilac,” “Pink/Orange,” “Nude/Neon Orange,” and “Green” amongst others. Elsewhere, the brand’s bridal-inspired collection gives its signature bralette and underwear silhouettes a new look with embroidered designs. Crafted from power mesh, the material is made using a pure cotton inner panel with zig-zag stitching, giving you a nearly naked feel. Running from size XS to XL, shop the brand here.
Elsewhere in intimates, emerging label String Decor places affordability and comfort at the forefront of its ethos.
